Milton Keynes Cheerleading Academy is a community based organisation formed by professional coaches from within the Milton Keynes area. 

MKCA is proud to boast some of the most qualified and experienced cheerleading coaches in Milton Keynes; who have been developing their coaching skills since the year 2000. 

Membership Details

An initial joining fee (£60 child/£70 adult) will entitle all MKCA members to:

All students are entitled to a free trial session!

Membership fees must be returned within two weeks of the free trial session. Memberships must be renewed annually (September), at a fee of £10 and cheerleaders will receive a free MKCA T-Shirt.

Parents Contract:

Please sign in agreement to the following:

I understand that as a parent I must:           Show an active interest in the team’s progress and show respect to others

        Be willing to discuss, with staff, issues concerning my child and team relations at an appropriate time

        Arrive, with my child in full kit, on time to practice, events and competitions

Provide my child with adequate refreshments for practice, events and competitions.

Collect my child, on time, from practice, events and competitions

Inform staff of any medical requirements or special needs my child has    and update them when appropriate.

Pay all subs on time and agree to the amount due as a joining fee

I have read and agree to the follow the above guidelines and understand that the coach/managers reserve the right to refuse my child from practice, events and competitions if these guidelines are not adhered to

I agree to photos being taken of my child for promotional purposes.

Cheerleaders Contract:

I agree that as a cheerleader I must:           Be dedicated to the team by committing time to practice, events and competitions

Show good sportsmanship at all times

Always perform to my best ability

Arrive on time in full kit.

I understand that failure to adhere to all MKCA rules and guidelines may lead to exclusion from the squad.

Personal liability and medical release form 

The emphasis in all MKCA classes/activities is safety but please be aware that accidents do happen.  Participants do so at their own risk.

I hereby agree to release MKCA, it’s representatives, agents, servants, and employees from liability for any injury to the above named person, resulting from any cause whatsoever occurring to above named person at any time while attending this cheerleading club, including travel to and from activities and competitions, excepting only such injury or damage resulting from wilful acts of such representatives, agents and employees.

I do voluntarily authorize MKCA staff to administer and/or obtain routine or emergency diagnostic procedures, and/or routine or emergency medical treatment for the above named person as deemed necessary in medical judgement.

I agree to indemnify and hold harmless MKCA and/or staff, assistants, designees from any and all claims, demands, actions, rights of actions, and/or judgements by or on behalf of the above named person arising from or on account of said procedures and/or treatment rendered in good faith and according to accepted medical standards.
