Hello all And well done to all of you who took part in the auditions. You made it really difficult for us, by presenting such a high standard over the three days. Don’t forget that you still may have the opportunity to get in to the dance team depending on the commitment and responsibility of the already selected members, so keep working hard! Anything is possible between now and July! There are a lot of events we are looking forward to taking part in this summer so stay committed and keep up the good work. If anyone has any further ideas for fundraising/promotional events just let us know Bye for now, keep cheering! Amy Roots MKCA - Coach

The MK Lions re-vamp. As most of you know the MK Lions are now preparing for the change over to the new sports arena in Bletchley, where we will be given the opportunity to perform in front of an audience of over 5’000. So it is important for us to achieve an even greater level of professionalism when performing at matches. Therefore we will be adapting our role to further our significance as the official MK Lions Cheerleaders. Changes will include: turning up between 5:00 and 5:30 to Friday matches and between 2:00 and 2:30 on a Sunday, and attending a new match specific lesson on A Saturday afternoon. Also cheerleaders will be designated matches to which they are expected to perform given roles during the game. More information will be given at a relevant time. So watch this space… |

All cheerleaders should now have received a competition pack, which outlines the expected costs and procedures for this year British Cheerleading Association’s Cheerleading Championships, to be held in Nottingham arena, 28th – 31st July. We are hoping also to encourage supporters to join us at the event as it really makes a difference to the atmosphere at such an event. So start saving those pennies! |
