HAPPY NEW YEAR!

 Hello all, and welcome back.

 It is the start of a brand new year and time to set our aims and targets for the future.

 We are currently in the process of arranging this years summer promotional /fundraising events for MKCA cheerleaders to take part in. So, it is important that all cheerleaders attend regular training sessions and designated basketball matches, at the Bletchley Leisure Centre to cheer on, local team, the MK Lions!

 Remember:

Practice makes perfect!

So keep a look out for up and coming events to make sure you don’t miss out!

Sunday 11^th December 2005 - OH WHAT A NIGHT!

What a fantastic turn out for our first, annual, Christmas party/presentation evening!

I think you’ll agree; the buffet was rather fabulous, so many thanks to all who contributed!!!

 Also, awards were given out to cheerleaders who have shown extra commitment and enthusiasm as cheerleaders in 2005:

Cheerleader of the year – Rochelle

Cheerleaders Choice – Charlie

Best Dance - Kelly

Best Cheer – Simone

Spirit Award - Sian

Best Match attendance – Cheralyn/Adam

Best class attendance – Rochelle – Daisy

Well Done to all of our cheerleaders for a fantastic year!

As you may know, we are about to start training for the British Cheerleading championships, to be held in July. Therefore, all cheerleaders who wish to compete must attend regular rehearsals.

 We will also be organising fundraising events to help cover the costs of travel and accommodation; If you have any suggestions please do not hesitate to inform us.

 Any further information will be given to cheerleaders at the beginning of training.
