MKCA Newsletter - Sixth Edition

Hello again,

Well done to those of you who turned up to our new Saturday session last week! You worked very hard and I’m sure you were all aching the next day!

Also thank you to everyone who has stayed committed to attending matches and those of you who attended your first match on the 16th.

The basketball season is nearly over so it is important that we go out with a bang!

If you are available then you are expected to attend all matches.

Miki and me have been very busy organising various events for you to attend throughout the summer, so we hope you all keep up the good work and stay committed to MKCA.

Keep cheering!

MKCA NEWSLETTER

March 2006

To all MKCA members:

We are slightly concerned with the levels of commitment from some members of MKCA. I would like to point out that those of you who do not attend regular practice you will no be choreographed into the routines. If you miss more than three sessions, we will unfortunately have to forfeit your place on the team; unless you give due notice and/or have a reasonable explanation for your absence! If you are unable to join in but are not bed ridden, we expect you to come and watch so that you don’t miss out on any new choreography!

To those of you who attend Stantonbury Campus,

I will be taking over for Miki whilst she is on her maternity leave, as of this week. So make the most of the free training with SCE and make sure you come along. Thusdays and Fridays 3:00 – 4:30, Upper Level.

Saturday training sessions will begin on the 18th of March 2:00 – 3:30 for just £2! At the Mathiesen Centre. The first 45 minutes will be a rehearsal time for stunts and dance routines, followed by a 45min fitness session.

MKCA will be holding a workshop on Saturday 15th April from 10 - 2 at the cost of £8 per student. We have subsidised the cost because we want everyone to attend. Therefore we look forward to seeing all MKCA members there!

MK Lions Matches

ONLY Three left!!!

Sunday 26th March ( 2:30 )

Friday 31st March (6:30)

Friday 7th April (6:30)

The next Lions match will be on Sunday the 26th of March! If you cannot make this event please tell either Miki or me. Otherwise we will expect to see all of you there!

REMEMBER there is no point in just turning up. Let us know if you are going in advance – Otherwise you will not have a kit! Also you cannot attend without coming to training, as you will not know the routines!

Gulliver’s Land

Saturday 1st April/ Sunday 16th April.

MKCA Have been offered the chance of giving two performances at Gulliver’s land:

Once you have performed they are offering full use of the parks facilities to MKCA. Again if you cannot make these dates tell either Miki or me. We expect all of you want to be a part of this fantastic opportunity!
Please remember Kit deposits and first payments should have been paid already and that we are now expecting second payments. If you have any problem with this please speak to either Miki or myself, as we wouldn’t want for anyone to miss out because of this!
